XRA-31 Version 3.0: A-TDMA (up to 8 channels)

With added A-TDMA support, this release supports real-time demodulation and capturing of 1 OFDM, 1 OFDMA, 24 downstream SC-QAM and 8 A-TDMA channels simultaneously!

This release also brings you small improvements and bug fixes, which include:

  • Added continuous synchronization of upstream channels with downstream channels.
  • Added continuous automatic gain control adjustments to reach the optimal input power level for upstream

10 Gbit/s impairment node

A couple years ago we described our impairment node on our blog. We've used this system for functional tests of the ByteBlower server and verification of the latency measurements. This setup has served us well, performance was never a bottleneck. For a new experiment, part of an upcoming blogpost, our colleagues of the DOCIS testing services required a significantly faster impairment

ByteBlower 2.10 released

In the summer of 2018, we’ve introduced the option to automatically restart a broken TCP session. This feature provided continuous TCP traffic, even when the network itself encountered hiccups. At that time, this feature was only available on the ByteBlower server ports. In this first major release of 2019, we are bringing this feature to ByteBlower Wireless Endpoint. A big aid to test mobile devices even in difficult Wi-Fi environments.

Excentis is happy to announce the new version of the XRA-31!

This release brings you small improvements and bug fixes, which include:
