New testing equipment!

We've just received a couple new Wireless Access Points. One we've called the 'the spider', the other is nameless still. Care to guess which one is which?
Next to appearance, their largest plus is support of the new Wi-Fi AX standard, or IEEE 802.11ax in full. This specification claims quite a few new benefits. Promises we'd like to test with our Wireless Endpoints clients. Keep an eye on our blog for the first results.
One of those promises is better throughput: 1.2 Gbit/s up and down over Wi-Fi! Luckily the access points also includes an 2.5 Gbit/s NBASE-T interface.
Getting hold of a client was the bottleneck for now. Not many devices support for this new WiFi standard. The Samsung Galaxy S10 seems to be the first. We will start with tests over a meshed network. We'll keep you posted!
The Smartphone is expected to arrive here the 8th of March. Anyone out there already got hold of one?
