Dear ByteBlower users,
We wanted to bring to your attention an ongoing issue we've identified with our update engine, specifically impacting the automatic update process of the ByteBlower GUI v2.22 or below on macOS. Some users have reported encountering long waiting times and difficulties when attempting to update the GUI after receiving the update notification.
As a precautionary measure, we have temporarily disabled automatic updates for all macOS users. This means that attempting to update via the "update available notification" or the "check for updates" option within the GUI will result in a failed update process.
Rest assured, this issue has been resolved for GUI version 2.22.2 and above. In the meantime, we want to ensure that all users using ByteBlower GUI version 2.22 or below can still access the latest version of the ByteBlower GUI. You can do so by manually downloading and installing the latest version from our download page at https://setup.byteblower.com/software.html. This manual installation process will seamlessly update your ByteBlower GUI while preserving your projects, reports, and settings data intact.
Please note that this issue is specific to macOS and does not affect any other operating systems or products.
