Remote access to your ByteBlower

Introduction

The ByteBlower server communicates over TCP with the ByteBlower GUI and other client applications. For most networks, being able to ping the ByteBlower server is sufficient to run tests.

Occasionally, network access is restricted between the lab and the office. In that case, this table can be used for your firewall configuration.

Ports
ProtocolPort number
Description
TCP22SSH
TCP9002Management traffic between GUI/API and ByteBlower Server Application
TCP9100Heartbeat traffic between Wireless Endpoint (WE) and MeetingPoint Server Application.
Through these heartbeats, the WE is able to start new tests.
TCP9101Management traffic between GUI/API and MeetingPoint Server Application

When you don't have a Meetingpoint License on your system, then the last 2 rows are not required.
